Prison Christian Growth Group (PCGG)
PCGG gives the inmate the opportunity to see Christianity in Action.
We can hear the Homilist from the pulpit all day, BUT unless we see it in each other, religion may become superficial.
We must live it every day and seeing others attempting to do just that encourages us to overcome ourselves.

Themes for the first 4 gatherings and their purpose
Many people in our world, our Church, yes our parish, feel distanced from one another. One could be in a crowded church or at a church function and still feel isolated.
Our purpose in this gathering is to examine our weaknesses from St. Paul's "admonitions” in 1 Cor. 13 (love is kind, patient, etc.).
What we really want is to develop a much stronger sense of community within our parish which will ultimately transform the very world we live in. We cannot do this alone.
The basis for being Christian, Jesus died so that sins may be forgiven. He expects us to forgive others as we are forgiven by the Father.
All future gatherings are based on scripture. The Themes are:
Reality of Discipleship, Discernment, Leadership, Healing, Humility, Holiness, Peripheral Vision, Perseverance, Resolving conflict and many more.
